February CAS Card Challenge

Hey there, STAMPlorations friends! Before we dive right in to this month's challenge, we'd like to thank everyone who played in last month's challenge. You all certainly gave our CAS Card Challenge a warm welcome!

Our CAS Card Challenge is pretty simple: it's straightforward anything CAS goes with the optional color twist. Create a clean and simple card with or without the color we've picked to include. And for February, red is the optional color twist. (You can use other colors with red.)

When linking up, please follow these simple rules: (complete list of rules is here)
  • Link up to 3 entries and link up to as many other challenges as you want.
  • To qualify for our prizes, you must display the challenge graphic in your blog post. (This is not required if you're linking from online galleries like Splitcoast, Flickr, or Pinterest.)
  • Link back to this challenge post (not just our main blog) to encourage others to play too. Entries not linking back to our challenge will be deleted.
The team will vote on the winner and top picks with the winner invited to guest design in a future challenge. (We'll supply the winner with a stamp and stencil pack to use too!) Then we'll randomly draw one player from all the entries to win some spending money on the shop -- a $15 gift certificate if STAMPlorations products were used or a $10 gift certificate if without. For the complete challenge guidelines, click here and scroll down to the CAS Card Challenge info.

Let's see what the STAMPlorations girls in the CAS team created this month.

TONI
A white stamped panel layered over an artsy background makes Toni's card CAS.

{Art Is and Alice in Wonderland #8}

KAROLA
Karola used simple techniques (sponging over a stencils and embossing on vellum) to create this beautiful CAS card.

KSENIJA
A watercolored focal image accompanied by a simple sentiment makes Ksenija's lovely CAS card.

LISA
Lisa's card is an excellent example that watercoloring and CAS make for a great pair.

LINDA
Red, black, a touch of neutral, layering, and a little bit of splattering all combine to make this striking CAS card.

So how about you show us your CAS cards with or without the color twist? The linky is open until the end of the month and you can enter up to 3 cards with or without the color twist. You're not required to use STAMPlorations products (although we're always thrilled to see projects made with them). For the full challenge rules, click here. The CAS girls will be back in two weeks to share more CAS cards for this month's challenge.
